Hot Trends Bridal Veils for 2015

Color.- I have to say that au contraire  to what most most people would
think, WHITE is actually not the most used color by brides, I would have
to say the light ivory and off white/silk white are, color is in, so much so
that I have learned to dye tulle so it matches the bride's gown, and lace, but
not all lace is dye able and you only know until you try in a small piece so
as not to ruin the whole thing.
Trims.- From Small to large, horse hair trim is in. It's not only to match those
gowns that have horsehair themselves but also to add an ethereal air to the
overall look. It takes skill to sew this trim but with patience and a good sewing machine
I have conquered the trim!!!
Lace appliques.- Instead of the whole lace trim, just adding some lace appliques to
a veil will most definitely make a veil look like a million bucks, but it's important
the the appliques are delicate and not too big, beading can be done to complement
the beading on a gown too.

Gold.- Metallic gold is also another hot ticket, there aren't many laces that are
pretty enough and not gaudy looking that are also gold, I was lucky to find some
that is not the very expensive Chantilly trim. I have done this veil is many different
lengths, from shoulder to cathedral and love them all!

Cascade.- Whether is a single tier, short or long, brides want the veil to look like
it has many layer but with out the bulk, so i made a special cascade cut that keeps
the veil sheer and light, it can be with unfinished edge, also know as clean edge
or you can request a pencil edge, rolled edge or add some rattail cord or satin ribbon
perhaps some lace appliques or crystals? I am dying to make it with some rhinestones
all around, or little tiny flowers? how about little flowers with a rhinestone in the
middle? OMG the options are just endless. I need to make one of these in cathedral
and see what it looks like, ta ta!
